From one Photo and £5 in my pocket
We started with an old and much loved Butcher’s recipe for a Steak and kidney Pie, thought long forgotten. However, it had been handed down to Nick and in a flash of nostalgia some 40 years later, our Trevisick Pie ®️ was born.
With a Photo on the Barnstaple History Page of one pie and £5 for ingredients, a business was born.
We followed with another Barnstaple favourite, the Plate Pasty. You told us you loved them and so it began. (from his home kitchen and the boot of Nick's car)
Our philosophy is simple, pies and pasties should be locally made and baked, use quality fresh ingredients and offer you the same great taste that your Great Granny would recognise. With no artificial preservatives, additives or palm oil, our pies and pasties are fresh from the oven to you.
We follow this philosophy with each new product we introduce, carefully selecting fresh ingredients and taking our inspiration from both Nick’s Gran’s recipes and the pies and pasties produced by local Butchers and Bakers.
